BRICS Women’s Working Group Holds Third Meeting

The Ministry of Women and Child Development convened the Third Preparatory Meeting of the BRICS Women Track under India’s BRICS Chairship ahead of the Women Track meetings in Kochi in July 2026.

The meeting was held in virtual mode under the theme Building for Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation and Sustainability. Member countries discussed key outcomes including a Digital Repository of Best Practices and BRICS Women’s Capacity Building Guidelines. The discussion was aimed at building consensus before the BRICS Women Working Group and Ministerial meetings scheduled in Kochi from 6 to 9 July 2026.
