BRICS Space Economy Proposed

Dr Jitendra Singh proposed a BRICS Space Economy framework at the BRICS Heads of Space Agencies meeting in Bengaluru.

Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh called for building a BRICS Space Economy during the BRICS Heads of Space Agencies meeting in Bengaluru. He described space cooperation as a driver of innovation, sustainability and shared prosperity. The proposal focuses on using the scientific capabilities and industrial capacity of BRICS countries for space-led economic growth. The meeting is significant for India’s space diplomacy and its role in emerging space-sector cooperation among major developing economies.
