BRICS Indore Declaration Adopted on Agriculture Cooperation

The 16th BRICS Agriculture Ministers’ Meeting concluded in Indore with the adoption of the BRICS Indore Declaration under India’s Chairship.

The 16th BRICS Agriculture Ministers’ Meeting was held in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, on 12–13 June 2026 under India’s BRICS Chairship. The meeting adopted the BRICS Indore Declaration as a framework for agricultural cooperation among member countries. The declaration focused on food security, nutrition, agricultural trade, climate-resilient farming and farmer-centric development. It also highlighted cooperation in natural farming, digital agriculture, indigenous seeds and sustainable agricultural practices.
