BIT Mesra and NESAC Sign MoU for GeoAI and Geospatial Research

BIT Mesra and the North Eastern Space Applications Centre signed an MoU to advance GeoAI, remote sensing and geospatial research.

Birla Institute of Technology Mesra and the North Eastern Space Applications Centre signed a Memorandum of Understanding for cooperation in geospatial technologies. The agreement covers GeoAI, remote sensing, Earth observation data, GIS, capacity building and academic collaboration. NESAC will provide satellite imagery, geospatial databases and technical expertise, while BIT Mesra will support research, training and outreach. The MoU is valid for five years and is important for space applications in the North Eastern region.
