Ayush Ministry Sets Guinness Record for Yoga Livestream

The Ministry of Ayush created a new Guinness World Record for the largest viewership of a YouTube live Yoga stream with 4,35,831 verified viewers.

The record was created ahead of International Day of Yoga 2026 through a global online Yoga session streamed on the official Ministry of Ayush YouTube channel. The event featured the Common Yoga Protocol and was linked with the Yoga 365 campaign. The ministry said the new record surpassed the previous benchmark of 2,46,252 viewers set in 2024. International Day of Yoga 2026 will be observed on 21 June with the theme “Yoga for Healthy Ageing.”
