Air Marshal Tejinder Singh Takes Over as CISC

Air Marshal Tejinder Singh took over as the Chief of Integrated Defence Staff to Chairman Chiefs of Staff Committee (CISC).

Air Marshal Tejinder Singh assumed charge as CISC on 1 July 2026. The post is important in India’s integrated defence management structure and supports higher-level joint planning among the armed forces. He is a fighter-stream officer of the Indian Air Force with more than 4500 flying hours. Such appointments are important for defence current affairs and military command structure questions.
