Agni-1 Missile Successfully Test-Launched

India successfully test-launched the short-range ballistic missile Agni-1 from the Integrated Test Range at Chandipur, Odisha.

The Ministry of Defence confirmed the successful test-launch on 22 May 2026. The launch validated all operational and technical parameters of the missile. The test was carried out under the aegis of the Strategic Forces Command. It is important for defence technology, missile systems and India’s strategic capability.
