ABDM Creates Over 94.87 Crore ABHA IDs

The government informed that over 94.87 crore ABHA IDs had been created under Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission as of 20 July 2026.

As of 20 July 2026, Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission had created 94.87 crore Ayushman Bharat Health Account IDs. The Health Facility Registry included 5.36 lakh registered health facilities and the Healthcare Professionals Registry had 10.09 lakh registered professionals. ABDM uses digital registries and common health data standards to improve interoperability across public and private health systems. A third-party evaluation found that ABDM helped reduce waiting times, improve service access and support underserved groups. The mission follows a privacy-by-design approach and enables consent-based health data exchange without a centralised health data repository.
